Required Reading – Bankers Are Not Your Friends

The relationship between a bank customer and money

To the average person, modern banking is a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma (to paraphrase Churchill).  It was born of the secret societies of the ancients and survives with all that secrecy intact.  It is probably no great mystery that the bankers aren’t all they’re cracked up to be, but what’s shocking is how far they really are from the picture they paint.

They play a balancing act around the good guy / bad guy paradigm that the best circus tight-rope walker would be proud of.  The banking industry is a classic example of mass cognitive dissonance.  People inherently hate the bank, but no one knows any better place to store their money, nor any other place to ask for more money.

Read The document in the download section and understand that the industry is not set up to help you.  If it were, banks wouldn’t charge you 23% on your credit card and pay you 1.5% on your savings.  We hope you can see the disconnect.
